ScrapCars.com can still scrap your car, please be sure to select you don't have these when filling in the scrap form. (Note: without the V5 log book you will need to notify the DVLA in writing after collection that your car has been scrapped.)

As above Scrap Cars can still help, our network of scrap agents have a variety of different shape and size recovery vehicles to cater for all possible collections, please mention on the scrap form where it says "Tyres Inflated"

As soon as our Scrap Cars agent removes your vehicle please send your logbook & covering letter to DVLA, Swansea, SA99-1BD.

topWhat next after filling in the scrap form

Please remove all personal belongings from your car and tax disc if you are claiming any months / part months back. You will also need to complete section 9 on your V5 document and send it to DVLA, Swansea, SA99-1BD, if you do not have the V5 log book then you must notify them in writing, please ask our scrap car agent for any advise when they contact you to arrange pickup of the vehicle.
